Dr. Ashish Nath is originally from India, but grew up in Los Angeles, California since the age of five. He completed his undergraduate degree at California University of Northridge and graduated with honors. Dr. Nath went on to obtain his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed his Surgical training at LSU in New Orleans. During his residency, Dr. Nath was selected by faculty to serve as Administrative Chief Surgical resident. He also received several awards in Surgical Critical Care Management and Laparoscopic Surgery.
Dr. Nath is a board-certified general surgeon with compassion who believes that even the most complex care can be delivered with a personal touch. His surgical expertise includes hernia operations, abdominal surgeries for benign and malignant diseases, as well as thyroid and parathyroid procedures. He employs the latest technology with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques to minimize pain and recovery time.
Dr. Nath is passionate about educating and empowering patients to make the best decisions regarding their health and well being. His ability to communicate to his patients and feel comfortable as if they were his family allows for a more personal connection.
When not working, Dr. Nath enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. He is an avid basketball fan and enjoys both playing and watching the game. He also coaches his two kids in basketball.
