Long Le, MD

Dr. Long Le is the Chief Medical Officer of Texas Regional Physicians and has ABMS board certifications in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Interventional Pain Medicine. He is a native Houstonian and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus towards tissue engineering.

 

Dr. Le completed both his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree and his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. To further his expertise and skills, he completed an ACGME accredited Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at UCLA – Greater Los Angeles Health Care System.

 

Dr. Le practices evidence-based medicine when diagnosing and treating pathology of the spine, soft tissue, and peripheral joints. He excels in numerous interventional pain procedures, including epidurals, facet joint injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, peripheral nerve stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, and peripheral joint/soft tissue injections, as well as diagnostic procedures, such as myelograms, arthrograms, and discograms. He also has extensive experience in regenerative medicine, using platelet-rich plasma (PRP), alpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M), and bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) to treat pain and promote healing.

 

Dr. Le understands that pain can affect a person’s physical and emotional well-being. He utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to treat his patients with the goals of improving their pain, function, and quality of life.
