Passionate about treating spine related pain and dysfunction, Dr Hancock treats a wide range of spine problems such as disc herneations, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, fractures, radiculopathy, myelopathy, degenerative disc, sacroiliitis etc. Dr. Hancock performs operations in cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic Spine and SIJ. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized care to their patients in the diagnosis and treatment of spine related pain, dysfunction, and Dr. Hancock prides himself in his patient focused approach discussing patients’ problem with them and taking time to educate them about their findings, diagnosis, and treatment options so they can be an active and informed participant in their care.

Back in 2004, Dr. Hancock earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Colorado after transferring from Trinity University in 2002. He then went on to complete his Master of Science degree in Biology at the University of Colorado, before completing a combined 5-year medical and Master of Business Administration degree program at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. Subsequently, he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 2016, followed by a fellowship in spine surgery at the Texas Back Institute in 2017. Since then, he has built his career and treated many patients in South-East Texas and as of 2022 has joined Texas Regional Clinics to bring excellent surgical spine care to patients in the Houston Metro area.
