Dr. Leung first obtained a degree in chemical engineering before finding his calling in the field of medicine.
Dr. Leung attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and then proceeded to complete anesthesia residency at the University of New Mexico where he took a special interest in improving safety in the operating room. Thereafter, Dr. Leung completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at New York University.
Dr. Leung is honored to join the outstanding team at Texas Regional Physicians. His philosophy to pain management involves establishing a relationship with the patient and tailoring a multidisciplinary approach that meets the unique needs of each individual. He strongly believes that the key goals of his specialty are to improve both physical function and quality of life for the patient.
Dr. Leung believes in a mission of lifelong learning and wishes to bring the best techniques to the care of his patients.
